They've sorted it out, and while most of the junk is going, there is still a giant pile of tires (great for a snake habitat)
and a pile of appliances (great for kids to die in.)
I think I'll put on that episode of Punky Brewster for my kids, just in case these fridges don't disappear soon.
And what prompted this sudden clean-up effort, when the pile had been growing for more than two years up to this point? It turns out the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) visited the school, and had quite a few things to say about the giant trash pile, and the old buildings full of rotting junk.
Ha ha. That's all I have to say about that.

Haha, the EPA. That's funny. Maybe you should have given them an anonymous tip a few years back and they would have come sooner. ;) Man, once those kids watch that Punky Brewster episode they'll never forget it...and then they can talk to all of their parents friends about it 'cuz they all remember too. ;)
