DON"T: Argue over who gets to take the picture, and who's camera it really is, then scowl for all the shots your spouse takes so yours will be the only good ones.
DO: Use the natural contrast in your surroundings to take a great portrait that highlights your spouse.
DON'T: Let your spouse try to take pictures at 'interesting' angles, while you slouch in an awkward way that make you look pregnant when you really aren't...
....thus requiring extensive cropping later.
DO: Point out to your spouse a perfect location where you can pose artfully, thus enabling them to take much better shots of you.
DON'T: Ever turn your back on your spouse while he's still holding the camera. Especially after you have already published shots like this of him.

missy and chelle- yeah, this is a canyon only about five minutes from our house! Its where we took our family pics and Elora's two-year pics last fall; its very pretty.

randa- yes, I'm trying to quite telling him he can't take pictures with 'my' camera because he likes to take photos too, but its really hard for me to not erase half of them when we get home!

kiera- I did get one of those skirts. Its going to be one of Elora's third birthday presents next month, so I don't know yet if she likes it..but I'm hoping to take some great pics of her in it!
Oh I Love it! i like to hog the camera so I'm never in shots...so when I do give Aaron the camera, I'll try to remember never to face my back to him 'cause I bet he'd take one of those "fanny" shots! Looks like it was a fun hike!!
